Navy

A navy was a division of armed forces that was comprised of various starships and vessels. Several navies existed throughout galactic history, including the Trade Federation fleet,^[1] the Republic Navy,^[2] the Confederacy navy,^[3] the Imperial Navy,^[2] the Rebel Alliance Navy,^[4] the New Republic Navy, the Resistance navy, the First Order Navy,^[5] the Final Order,^[6] the Citizens' Fleet,^[6] and the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet.^[7]

During the Battle of Exegol, Allegiant General Enric Pryde, serving as the commanding officer of the Sith Eternal's fleet of Xyston-class Star Destroyers, was caught off guard by the arrival of the citizens' fleet. When he voiced his confusion by stating the Resistance had no naval force, Admiral Frantis Griss responded with his realization that the fleet was actually the combined forces of the citizens of the galaxy, who had banded together to reject subjugation under Darth Sidious.^[8]
