Kiffu[4] was a planet[3] located in the Inner Rim region of the galaxy.[1] It was one of two home planets of the sentient Kiffar species, along with Kiffex.[3] It was the homeworld of the Kiffar[5] Jedi Master Quinlan Vos,[4] who was active in the Jedi Order from at least 32 years before the Battle of Yavin[6][7][8] until the end of the Clone Wars,[9] survived the Great Jedi Purge[10] and assisted the underground network known as the Hidden Path until at least 9 BBY.[11]

Behind the scenes

Kiffu first appeared in Star Wars (1998) 20, the 20th issue of the Star Wars: Republic series of comics, as the home planet of Quinlan Vos.[12] Though this series of comics is now considered part of the continuity of Star Wars Legends,[13] the planet Kiffu was listed as Vos's homeworld in Ultimate Star Wars,[4] a canon guide to the Star Wars franchise released to the general public on April 28, 2015.[14] The Databank on the StarWars.com website later added an entry for the Kiffar specifying that the species' two home planets were Kiffu and Kiffex.[3]
