Intake officers of the Galactic Empire were tasked with taking in cadets who applied for one of the Imperial Academies. By the fourteenth year of Emperor Palpatine's reign, Sergeant Currahee served as an intake officer at the Academy for Young Imperials on Lothal.[1]
