Cadet

Cadet was a title used to refer to youthful individuals enrolled in a training or educational program. Prior to and during the Clone Wars, the Grand Army of the Republic trained clone cadets on Kamino, who would one day become clone troopers.^[2] The New Mandalorians created the Royal Academy of Government, where young Mandalorian cadets were sent and instructed how to become great leaders.^[3] After the fall of the Galactic Republic, the newly-formed Galactic Empire set up the Imperial Academy to train Imperial cadets to serve in the Imperial Military.^[4]
