First Mate

First Mate[2] was the title held by an individual second in command to the captain of a civilian starship. L3-37 was first mate to Lando Calrissian on the Millennium Falcon.[3] Chewbacca was later first mate to Han Solo on the Millennium Falcon,[1] as Quiggold was to Sidon Ithano on the Meson Martinet.[4] Brutus was the First Mate to Silvo before he decided to overthrow him.[5] The "Pirate Queen" Lassa Rhayme was in a romantic relationship with her first mate; however, he betrayed her and she put quite a lucrative bounty on his head.[6]
