- "What's her business here?"
"Business? Oh, well, there's not much business in Sorgan, so I can't say." - ―Din Djarin and Dara Vish, on Cara Dune
Dara Vish was a human female proprietor hailing from the planet Sorgan who worked at the Common House on the world. Around 9 ABY, she served grinjer bone broth and spotchka to the Mandalorian Din Djarin and his young companion, Grogu, the former of whom bribed Vish so that she would speed up his order. Djarin also inquired Vish about a local named Cara Dune.
Biography
- "Welcome, travelers. Can I interest you in anything?"
- ―Dara Vish, to Din Djarin

Dara Vish[3] was a human female[2] hailing from the planet Sorgan.[1] On Sorgan, Vish owned and bartended the Common House,[2] working to create a welcoming establishment for her patrons.[1] In 9 ABY,[4] she[3] had taken down a creature known as a grinjer, which provided for plenty of bone broth for the Common House. Shortly afterward, the Mandalorian[2] Din Djarin[1] and the infant[2] Grogu[1] visited the planet and then the house, where Vish welcomed them and took Djarin's order: bone broth for Grogu. She offered the Mandalorian broth as well, but he declined.[2]
He then took interest in the nearby human Cara Dune, inquiring about how long she had been there and what she was doing; Vish thought that she had seen Dune for around a week and then chuckled, for there was not much business on Sorgan. Djarin then slipped her some credits, prompting Vish to assure the Mandalorian that his meal would come as soon as possible and that she would additionally serve him a flagon of spotchka. After noticing that Dune had left her seat, Djarin walked outside, tossing an additional coin to Vish in exchange for her watching Grogu for him.[2] Later that year,[4] Vish was present in the building when Dune fought a Zabrak fighter, standing behind the bar and watching the tussle.[5]
Personality and traits
- "I will get that broth to you as soon as possible, and I will throw in a flagon of spotchka just for good measure."
- ―Dara Vish accepts the Mandalorian's bribe
Dara Vish was willing to accept bribes in exchange for better service, assuring Djarin that his food would come as soon as possible after he gave credits to her and even adding free spotchka to the order.[2] She considered all who visited her tavern a friend, with many of her regular customers happy to travel for her hospitality.[1] Vish had black hair, light skin, and hazel-colored eyes.[2]
Equipment
While on Sorgan, Vish wore brown, lightly patterned clothing.[2]
Behind the scenes
