- "A fine clan full of great warriors, willing to sacrifice their lives resisting the terrible Empire. I wear this armor with pride."
- ―Aran Tal
Clan Eldar was a Mandalorian clan that was active during the reign of the Galactic Empire.[1] In 1 BBY,[3] after a mission undertaken by Clan Wren, Clan Kryze, and members of the Rebel Alliance that took place during the Mandalorian Civil War, Clan Eldar pledged themselves to Lady Bo-Katan Kryze along with other clans, thus becoming part of the Mandalorian resistance against the Galactic Empire.[1] The members of Clan Eldar were willing to put their lives on the line in the name of fighting against the Empire.[4]
Clan Eldar consisted of Mandalorian warriors that donned Mandalorian armor with black, dark green, and orange color combinations.[1] Their signet depicted the face of a leonid creature[5] known as a lion.[4] During the New Republic Era, some members of Clan Eldar were part of the Children of the Watch, and their signet was visible on a flag when Ragnar Vizsla swore to the Mandalorian Creed.[2] Aran Tal wore a suit of Clan Eldar armor while working as a hunter in the Grand Arena, donning that gear with pride after they had resisted the Empire.[4]
