A camera,[1] also known simply as a cam,[2] was a type of device that captured light to generate images or visual footage. The Spectres rebel cell's starship Ghost's holotransmitter was fitted with a camera. In 4 BBY, Ezra Bridger and his fellow Spectres delivered a speech using the holotransmitter's camera which they beamed to the Imperial Communications Center on Lothal.[1] Imperial prison cells were often equipped with cameras to monitor activity.[3]
