Atraken

Atraken was a terrestrial planet in the galaxy.[1] Rich with natural mineral resources, both the Confederacy of Independent Systems and Galactic Republic wanted control over Atraken during the Clone Wars,[2] which was waged between 22 and 19 BBY.[3] During the conflict, there was an attack on Atraken at some point after the Battle of Abrion Bridge. Although the battle was ultimately a Republic victory, the planet was rendered inhospitable and millions died.[1]
