Askaji,[3] also known as Askaj,[4] was a planet located in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories.[1] It was the homeworld of the Askajian species. On Askaji, the native Askajians lived in tribes led by a chief.[5] By 5 ABY, it had joined the New Republic and was represented in the Galactic Senate by Senator Grelka Sorka.[4]
