An Ashla Staff[2] was a type of staff,[1] often created from wooden branches gifted by Tholothian dignitaries, used by the Revered Masters[2] of Lasat culture. These staffs held a spiritual purpose in Lasat culture, and had a special connection to the Force. A survivor of the Siege of Lasan named Chava carried one such staff on her journeys to return to Lira San.[1]
During the Siege of Lasan, these staffs were plundered by the Galactic Empire—and some of those who survived sold the staffs.[2]
