Air taxis were a type of small, open-air speeder used as passenger transports on planets with air traffic. The Coruscant air taxi saw use in great numbers on the world of Coruscant,[1] where their pilots transported customers around the planet.[2] They utilized air bus lanes to dart in and out of sky traffic.[3] They were also allowed to take shortcuts through the canyons of skyscrapers. Their max speed was 191kph (119mph).[2]
