2638[4] was a B1-series battle droid in the Droid Army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems that was active during the Clone Wars.[2] In 19 BBY,[1] 2638 was involved in the Battle of Utapau, where it fired near Republic Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, but the droid was blasted by clone troopers.[2]

Behind the scenes

The battle droid's identification number can be spotted on its comlink booster pack,[4] similar to 1138, a droid featured in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[5]
