Saroosh was the host of Selmak prior to Jacob Carter.
Biography
1998
When SG-1 made contact with the Tok'ra, Saroosh was a few days short of her 203rd birthday. However, she was also very sick, and was near the end of her life. She had been host to Selmak for nearly two centuries, and had greatly enjoyed its sense of humor.

However, like all other Tok'ra, their centuries together had also been difficult, as they had witnessed countless Goa'uld atrocities. Jacob agreed to be host to Selmak, and Saroosh soon died after Selmak left. When SG-1 arrived, it was mostly Selmak in control of her body, but Saroosh emerged to help convince Jacob of the benefits of becoming a host. When Jacob agreed, Saroosh allowed Selmak to leave her body and transfer to Jacob's, and died peacefully. (SG1: "The Tok'ra, Part 1", "The Tok'ra, Part 2")
