Delek

Delek is a Tok'ra leader, with limited dealings with Earth. He was a member of the Tok'ra High Council.

In 2004, Delek visited Stargate Command to answer Major General George S. Hammond's question about Anubis' attack on the Alpha Site. Delek believed that Selmak had been compromised by his feelings for the Tau'ri. Delek eventually motioned for the Tok'ra-Tau'ri-Jaffa alliance to be dissolved until a new plan could be forged. Behind the scenes

Delek, like all Tok'ra, are biologically Goa'uld and are technically the same species. However, the Tok'ra do not take kindly to being called Goa'uld and do not believe in taking hosts against their will and instead form a symbiotic relationship with them. (SG1: "The Tok'ra, Part 1", "The Tok'ra, Part 2")
