Control

Control is a zerg gameplay counter limiting the size of a zerg force. Every constructed unit requires control, and more control can be generated by spawning overlords, up to a maximum value of 200. New units can be produced so long as the cumulative control of all active units does not exceed the number of available control.

In strategy discussions, control levels may be denoted as x/y, where x is the control used, and y is the total available control. Unit costs may be denoted as x/y/z, where x is the cost in minerals, y is the cost in gas, and z is how much control is used.

Terran supply and protoss psi serve the same purpose.
