The Miasmageist (unofficial) is a term for a special variant of the Poltergeist, appearing in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
Overview
The Miasmageists appear a lot like their Poltergeist cousins. They are easily distinguishable from the latter due to appearing as a green gaseous cloud. On death, they die the same as it's cousins.
A Miasmageist's primary attack is spawning small clouds of gas, similar to Gas cloud anomalies. They are still capable of throwing physical objects at enemies. While hard to shoot or aim at and being generally quite fast, they are far from invulnerable. A couple of shotgun blasts at close range or a couple of magazines from an assault rifle are usually all it takes to get rid of these mutants.
