Elevator

The Elevator, also known as the Mill, is a location in the Cordon featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It is located to the west of the Vehicle station and north to the Rookie Village.

Shadow of Chernobyl

In Shadow of Chernobyl, the Mill is completely abandoned, perhaps due to the presence of the Military nearby. One of the Bandits met his demise there near a stash.

Clear Sky

In Clear Sky, the Elevator is one of the two locations used by Major Khaletskiy's men to attempt a rescue operation from. As part of the main story, the player is required to join the Loners on an assault on the elevator. The stalkers will occupy the location after the battle. It is one of the three potential spawn locations for the Loot.

Shadow of Chernobyl

The location holds the following loot:

• Bandit jacket (south-west corner of the storehouse, under a pile of boxes)
• Silencer and 5.45x39mm ammo in a blue box on the roof of the storehouse. Due to a bug, the contents fall through the roof and must be collected from the floor inside the building.
• 12x70 Buckshot and bandages in the north-east corner of the mill itself (ground floor). These often fall from the supply box above when the player opens it.
• A useful Stone Flower artifact may usually be acquired by squat / leaning near the Mill hopper on the ground floor.

The following stashes are found in this location:

• Goods of the shooter - in a toolbox of the westernmost tower of the mill building, the location usually comes from a Bandit and contains a Thorn artifact.
• Things by the bridge
