Ouchie is Patrick's pet sea urchin. He first appears in the episode "Late for Breakfast" and is a recurring character in The Patrick Star Show.
Description
Ouchie is a spiked black sea urchin with purple outlines, just like most other sea urchins in the series. He sleeps in Patrick's bedroom, and communicates in high-pitched barks, which Patrick is able to understand.
A calendar in "Swaptoberfest" shows that Ouchie's birthday is on Swaptober 6th.

"Late for Breakfast"
He appears as Patrick's alarm clock by hitting him with his spikes when he was startled, as shown with when the bottom halve of a violin is cut off and startles him. He was later seen as one of Patrick's fans on The Patrick Show!.
"Stair Wars"
Squidina rushes to put Ouchie on his reserved chair before the show starts. He is then seen during the golf segment at the end of the episode.
"Enemies à la Mode"
A pre-recorded segment on nature shows Patrick recording Ouchie. A sea bunny, named Pinkeye, fights Ouchie in an attempt to steal his food.
"Lost in Couch"
Squidina attaches a camera to Ouchie and puts him on Patrick's head before he goes into the couch. Ouchie follows Patrick, and frees him after Bubble Bass sits on him. When Patrick fights the TV remote, Ouchie gets knocked loose from his head, and continues to film him. Later, Cecil mistakenly retrieves Ouchie instead of Patrick from under the couch. At the end of the episode, Ouchie is seen watching TV with Patrick and Squidina.
"I Smell a Pat"
When Patrick is searching for the smell, he first visits Ouchie. Patrick picks up Ouchie, takes out his tongue and smells it, but realizes that the smell is not coming from him.
"Who's a Big Boy?"
Patrick goes to bed, but is glowing from nuclear radiation, which keeps Ouchie awake. Patrick apologizes, covers himself up, and Ouchie goes back to sleep.
"Terror at 20,000 Leagues"
In the opening of the episode, Ouchie, who is dressed as an onion, chases Pinkeye across the lawn.
"Just in Time for Christmas"
When Patrick is about to give his family useless gifts, Ouchie jumps on his leg to stop him. He then jumps on Patrick to push him into the time closet, and later presses a button to show him Caveman Jenkins' farm. Ouchie also reminds Patrick to stay focused after the pterodactyl almost gets into his room.
"Patrick's Alley"
During Ouchie's Hints, Patrick tries to figure out what his pet wants. He first finds cans of pet food, then comes to a conclusion from a board of arbitrary clues. Patrick fills a bowl of food for Ouchie, but eats it himself. Ouchie jumps at him in anger, and tells him the kids he's babysitting have gotten lost. In this episode, Ouchie is capable of speaking full sentences, and has a gruff voice.
"Nitwit Neighborhood News"
When Patrick is putting on a news show, Ouchie jumps onto his head to alert him of some breaking news.
"Uncredible Journey"
Ouchie and Pinkeye put aside their feud to play with Tinkle, their mutual friend. However, they get taken away by the worker fish, who thinks Tinkle is broken. Ouchie winds up at the Dump with his friends. He helps defeat a junkyard worm by poking it with his spikes while Tinkle has it trapped. They head downtown and reach Trader Barg'n's, where Ouchie drools at some sausage on sale. The three get lost in a jungle, until Rube Goldfish helps them get back home. Ouchie cries when he sees the family members mourning Tinkle's supposed death, but they all cheer up once they learn he is alive. Ouchie then attacks Rube to get the pie he is eating.
"Host-a-Palooza"
Ouchie is seen next to the suspended block of bricks Patrick uses for his magic trick. Later, Ouchie is one of the guest hosts that Squidina puts on. He plays the violin with his tongue, which sounds shrill and unpleasant, so he gets replaced.
"The Patrick Show Sells Out"
The episode opens with what appears to be Ouchie and Pinkeye fighting each other. However, at the end of the fight, it turns out to be Patrick and Squidina in costume. Ouchie and Pinkeye applaud their performance.
"The Patrick Show Cashes In"
While Ouchie is not seen in person, some of the merchandise is modeled after him, such as a pair of roller skates and a plush toy that uses nails to imitate his spikes.
"10 & 1 Toilets"
Ouchie is chased up a tree by Tinkle's puppies. GrandPat uses a plumbing snake to get the puppies away.
"Is There a Director in the House?"
Bubble Bass fires him from The Patrick Show!
"The Patrick Show After Dark"
Ouchie can seen playing outside with Pinkeye at night.
"Get Ouch"
Ouchie is removed from the Star house, and is replaced by Pinkeye.

He appears as a buddy from the Krabby Patty Clam in Bottom Feeder Lane.
