Viblova (クヌメーン Kunumēn) are a species of Krawl and a variant of Blova. They are of the Aurora property, and are the first enemies Rallen encounters in the game, Spectrobes.
Appearance
Viblova are identical to Blova, except that they are dark green in colour. As such, a Viblova is a bipedal mass of Krawl slime, with limbs that it uses to walk.
Attacks
Viblova originally attacked by swinging their large arms at their opponent, much like Blova. However, in Beyond the Portals, they instead attack by firing a pair of green energy blasts.
Strategy
In Spectrobes, Viblova attack similarly to Blova. This means employing the same strategy of keeping them at a distance will work well to dispatch them.
In Beyond the Portals, the opposite is true. Since they are now a ranged-attacking Krawl, getting up close with a melee attacking Spectrobe is the best way to counter them.
Trivia
- Viblova were the first Krawl to be encountered in the Spectrobes series.
- In episode 3 of the Spectrobes webisodes, as well as the book media tie-in for the game, Swar attack Rallen at Daichi’s crash site instead of Viblova.
