History
Poseidon was the former Sea God. He encountered Tang San through the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud. At that moment, he designated Tang San as his successor. When the Shrek Seven Devils arrived on Sea God Island, Poseidon bestowed Tang San the Sea God Trials. Tang San became the Sea God after completing the Sea God Trials. After becoming the Sea God, Tang San battled with the Angel Goddess, Qian Renxue, ending in her defeat.

Xiao Wu can temporarily become the Sea Goddess when Tang San uses the power of the Asura God.
Although Tang Wulin completed the Sea God Trials, he didn’t become the Sea God because the God Position couldn’t be passed down due to the God Realm was swept away by the Space-Time Turbulence and very far away at that time. He was only able to wield the Sea God Trident.
