The Seed Propeller is a gimmick that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a device used by Modern Sonic to propel himself through the air.
Description
The Seed Propeller is a yellow propeller with an orange stick coming out of it and a silver bottom with a latch that Sonic can hold onto.
Overview
In the Nintendo 3DS version of Sonic Generations, the Seed Propeller appears in Mushroom Hill Act 2. In gameplay, it can carry Modern Sonic through midair if he Boosts into it at sufficient enough speeds. While riding the Seed Propeller, the player can jump off it at any point.
Trivia
- The Seed Propeller is not a gimmick used in the original Mushroom Hill Zone from Sonic & Knuckles.
- Similar gimmicks appeared in Frog Forest and the Egg Fleet in Sonic Heroes, the only difference being that the player had to use a Speed Type character to interact with them and could move up and down while riding them.
