Renato Novara is an Italian voice actor that provides voice work for the Sonic the Hedgehog series.[1]
Current Italian voice actor of Sonic the Hedgehog in the mainline games, films, and Sonic Prime, Novara became known for being the speaker of the Italian TV channel "Super!" and the dub of characters portrayed by Jerry Trainor in Dan Schneider's fictions (like Spencer Shay in iCarly). He also voiced other Italian anime and video game characters portrayed by Roger Craig Smith.[1]

- The Sonic the Hedgehog film series marks the first time that Novara provides the Italian voice of Sonic outside of the games.
- On 11 February 2020 Novara participated at Soliti ignoti (a game show hosted by Amadeus based on Identity) wearing a "Boom Sonic" costume,[7] similarly to Ryan Drummond's appearance at The Rosie O'Donnell Show. Before the beginning of that episode, Amadeus "interviewed" Movie Sonic, voiced by Novara.[8]
- Sonic Prime marks the second time that Novara provides the Italian voice of Sonic outside of the games.
