Malik Bentalha is a French actor, scriptwriter and humorist who has contributed to the European French dub of the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures.

Reception
The choice for him voicing Sonic was badly received amongst the French public. Many fans were unhappy that it wasn't Alexandre Gillet that voices the character in the European French dub of the film, since he has voiced Sonic since Sonic X.[2]
The hate from the French fans increased when Malik justified himself as a fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, despite not knowing who Tails and Knuckles were during a Konbini50 Q&A.[3]
