Genie Egg

The Genie Egg,^[1] also known as the spirit egg,^[2] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They are a unique type of eggs used for special missions.

Description

Genie Eggs are multicolored eggs that are slightly bigger in size than dinosaur eggs. The colors of the egg are yellow, brown, red, and green, which are all intertwined into unique patterns.

Overview

In gameplay, Genie Eggs appear during the Special Challenge mission in Dinosaur Jungle. Here, the player has to destroy five of them to complete said mission. They can easily be destroyed using the Homing Attack on them three times, although other means exist as well, such as fire-based Skills.
