Drill Worm

Not to be confused with Driller Worm.

The Drill Worm is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, worm-based Badnik model created by Eggman Nega.

Appearance

As their name suggests, Drill Worms resemble mechanical worms with an opening drill for a mouth. Their bodies are covered in glowing spikes.

Overview

In Sonic Rivals, the Drill Worms appear exclusively in Meteor Base Zone. In gameplay, Drill Worms emerge from the ground with their drill mouths at random, squirming in attempt to hit the playable character. They are invulnerable to any attack.
