Denny's (also known as Denny's Diner), is a diner-style restaurant chain, founded in 1953 in America. They did a promotion with the Sonic the Hedgehog series in the year 2000.
Sonic Underground (2000)
During 2000, Denny's did a promotion with Sonic Underground, and had plushies of Sonic and Knuckles available for $3.99. However, this seemed to not help increase the series' popularity with fans at the time.
A display stand for the promotion. Note Sonic's stretchy-looking arm and shorter section of his guitar.
Trivia
- Knuckles seemed to appear alot in the promotion, despite only appearing in a few episodes of the show.
- While the plush toys are considerably accurate to the Classic character designs, Knuckles appears to be noticeably smaller than Sonic.
- The Knuckles plush released in the set was the first plush of Knuckles The Echidna to be distributed in the United States.
