The Bullet Train[1] is a vehicle that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a transport train model used by the Eggman Empire.
Description
The Bullet Train is a menacing black and red train composed of multiple block-shaped cars with horns on the sides. The engine car is very bare save for the controls panel, which runs under the standard Egg-OS system.[2]
History
One Bullet Train set up to run through the Soleanna Forest Zone, and was used by the Badnik Horde commanded by E-106 Eta to transport Professor Charles the Hedgehog, Professor Dillon Pickle, and their research to the Rail Canyon Zone (along with fuel, supplies, explosives and a foosball table). The train was to drop its cargo off at Bullet Station, but was intercepted by the Freedom Fighters in their efforts to rescue the captives.[1][2]
Trivia
- The Bullet Train is based on the armored train that appears in Sonic Heroes.
- The solicitation for Sonic the Hedgehog #258 refers to the Bullet Train as the "Egg Train."
