1930 is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is one of the Spirits of the Years Past and is responsible for leading his corresponding year on its intended course.
Appearance
1930 has blue skin and white eyes and lack a nose. Standing taller than Amy Rose, he wears a blue hat and overalls. Like all other Spirits of the Years Past, he dons a banner with his name on it.
History
New Year out
On the New Year's Eve of the year of 1930, the spirit of 1930 entered the Time Stream to guide his year down its intended course. After returning to his world though, 1930 grew discontent with the problems that arose in modern society. Eventually, 1930 coshed 1999 with black pudding when it was the young spirit's time to enter the Time Stream, so he could reenter the Time Stream and bring back his days. This change in schedule threatened to destroy all of time and caused the creation of the Time Waster. With the arrival and aid of Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary though, 1930 was convinced by Amy that modern society was not all bad. 1930's change of heart made the Time Waster disappear and allowed 1999 to enter the Time Stream on schedule.[1]
