Description
May Lee sticks her knee upwards while flinching. If the opponent hits her, she'll counterattack and launch the opponent upwards.
Strategy
Waga Utan Kasane, despite its animation, can only counter mid attacks. Getting hit with a low or high will count as a counter hit on May Lee. Like most counters, it is vulnerable to projectiles and Command Grabs. On a successful counter, you can use Posture Shift to transform into Hero Mode.
Waga Utan Kasane can also be used during Dragon Tail Kick. This version is called Waga Utan Kasane 2, and is mostly used as a quick feint or a call-out to lure your opponent into getting countered as soon as they try to counterattack your Dragon Tail Kick rekkas. Just like the original, you can use Posture Shift to transform into Hero Mode after a successful counter.
Waga Utan Kasane is very difficult to follow-up with. The recovery from using a successful counter is too long, and the only way to capitalize on it is to transform immediately into Hero Mode, although you have to time it right.
