The Pit

The Pit is a trap set up by TommyInnit during The Battle of the Bridges after he received technical advice from an anonymous user who let him know of the properties of Rails on the server.

The trap was meant to kill Technoblade. This was not the case as Technoblade was cautious and managed to reveal the trap without falling in.

It used the last discovery noted in the Rails Experiment: Minecarts merged with boats maintained a massive amount of momentum that could quickly kill a player, as shown when Grunk and later Sylvee tested it and immediately died.

How TommyInnit planned for it to happen:

1. Fight Technoblade.
2. Die multiple times in a fight to Technoblade in order to lure him into a false sense of security.
3. Lure Technoblade to Africa for a "peace treaty".
4. Spleef Techno into the pit
5. Technoblade dies in the pit.

How it actually happened:

1. Technoblade killed Tommy several times.
2. Tommy requested Techno follow him to Africa.
3. Techno, being wary of possible traps, followed at a range.
4. Tommy attempted to spleef Techno into the pit.
5. Techno saw the pit and rightfully believed it was a trap.
6. Tommy insisted it was not a trap but Technoblade didn't believe him.
7. Tommy fought Technoblade, did 0 damage to him, and continuously was slain by Techno.
8. Tommy goes back to Africa and consistently try pushing Techno down the pit but fails multiple times. He succeeds in knocking Techno into the pit once, but the latter is not killed.
9. Multiple people arrive at the scene including GrunksPromise, Sneegsnag, Sylvee, and Timotainment
10. TommyInnit pushes down his own ally, Sylvee and she dies.
11. Everyone in Africa has a big fight unrelated to previous events.
