Season 1 is the first season of the Netflix original series Sky Rojo. It premiered on March 19, 2021.
Synopsis
Coral, Wendy and Gina go on the run in search of freedom while being chased by Romeo, their pimp from Las Novias Club, and his henchmen, Moisés and Christian. Together, the women embark on a frantic, chaotic journey during which they must face dangers of all kinds and live every second as if it were their last, while strengthening their friendship and discovering the most important thing: that together they are stronger and have more options to recover their lives.

Production
The series filmed on various locations in Madrid and Tenerife.[1] Filming began in Madrid on November 18, 2019, and later moved to Arico, Tenerife.[2] Filming was set to move to Castilla–La Mancha in early 2020 and take place there for approximately four months. However, the project, which was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic and filming continued in October 2020 in Madrid.[3]

- The series comes from the creators of ‘La Casa de Papel’.
- On January 19, 2021, it was announced via a teaser trailer that the series would premiere exactly two months later, on March 19, 2021.[4]
