I AM NOT A PIRATE!!

To the brothers.

Rioha, born as Rioha Decima Brightmane, is a central character and tritagonist in Skylark. She is member of The Crew as well as the pilot of The Ship but was once the first mate in her uncle's crew unaware of his more illegal activities and real nature.

After the arrest of her uncle, Rioha hid aboard The Ship and later met the brothers, Garen and Wake at the start of their adventure into the world.

Appearance

Rioha is a young woman with bright orange hair and eyes, she has light colored skin tone with a slim but toned figure.

Personality

Rioha is a practical individual with an honest, mature demeanor grounded in reality, often serving as the level-headed contrast to her more reckless and eccentric friends. Even as a child, she displayed remarkable maturity, frequently questioning her uncle about his plans following his banishment.

Beneath her stern exterior, however, lies a free spirit who deeply values personal freedom and the ability to choose her own path. In defiance of her family's strict traditions, Rioha chose to forge her own way. She is highly intelligent, with a pragmatic and worldly perspective, often relying on her cleverness and insight to solve problems.

A gifted engineer, Rioha is extremely knowledgeable about the inner workings and smooth operation of The Ship, which she regards with fierce protectiveness. She was often frustrated by Garen and Wake’s early mishandling of her "baby," showing open pride and satisfaction during perfect landings, and breaking down in tears when Agatha and her gang caused damage to it. The incident left her visibly heartbroken and momentarily hopeless.

History

Rioha was born in Port Ballesta, the ancestral hometown of her family the Brightmanes. Like the rest of her family, she was raised to one day join the military as per tradition.
