Limestone (リムストン, Limestone^? ), better known as Limes (ライム, Limes^? ) is a character in the Shuffle series and main character in Shuffle! Episode 2.

Personality

Limes is a mysterious girl with an enormous amount of magical power equal to that of her mother. She closely resembles Primula and also has trouble expressing her emotion at the beginning of the story, much like her mother in the events of Shuffle.

Background

Limes is the "daughter" of Primula, created from a split in the latter's powers. According to Kunzite, she has enough magical power that can wipe out the whole town. At first glance, she looks pretty young, but she is, in fact, only a year younger than Raito.

Primula appointed Limes as her future successor as guardian of the time-space rift if Primula would not live long enough to protect the world for eternity.

• Primula: Primula's powers split and created Limes. Primula regards her as her own daughter and treats her as such, visiting her at the Human World.

• Limes carries around stuffed cats just like her mother.
• The name Limestone comes from one type of sedimentary rock that is often composed of marine organisms' skeletal fragments.
• Primula deliberately moved Limes to the Human World to repeat her successful experiences from the past; being in the Human World will allow her to regain her lost emotions while in the magic facility.
• Emotional management is an essential part of controlling and maintaining the magical power and life force for both Primula and Limes.
• Not everyone knows the facts about Limes' birth and that Primula was her "mother"; the homunculus daughter herself didn't even know about this.
