Sabezra is the het ship between Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren from the Star Wars fandom.

Season One
In “Spark of Rebellion”, Ezra displays obvious signs of being attracted to Sabine after seeing her without her helmet for the first time. He asks her name but doesn’t receive an answer immediately due to their ship being in the middle of an escape. Later, after Sabine explains how her crew acts as a sort of family, she tells Ezra her name. Upon seeing how Zeb is reluctant to discuss Ezra following their escape from a Star Destroyer, she questions what happened with apparent concern.
Though Sabine agrees that going back to rescue Ezra is unwise, she displays obvious regret. When they return for him, Sabine caustically reminds Zeb not to leave anyone behind this time. Later, as Ezra is leaving the Ghost, Sabine appears to be disappointed. She is later seen sitting alone in the galley, presumably contemplating his-quickly aborted-departure.
In “Rise of the Old Masters”, Ezra sees Sabine painting in her room and is briefly distracted from angrily pursuing Chopper. He awkwardly attempts to flirt with her, offering to help her find inspiration, but she shuts him down without much ado. Despite this, Ezra later voices the hope that he can convince Sabine to paint a TIE Pilot helmet that Zeb has just gifted him. Later, he is chagrined to see her latest comical artwork depicting him and Zeb, despite her reminder that he earlier wanted to serve as inspiration for her.
In “Empire Day”, Sabine stops to watch as Ezra is in the middle of a training session with Kanan. Later, when Ezra joins the rest of the crew late on a sabotage mission, Sabine questions his absence. With some smugness, Ezra asks whether she missed him. Later, Sabine is stunned to learn that Ezra was born on Empire Day. After finding him in his parents’ old workshop, Sabine questions the nature of a disk he’s examining.
In “Gathering Forces”, after Tseebo claims to know the fate of Ezra’s parents, Sabine briefly hesitated to leave the pair alone. Later, she points out what Tseebo has gone through since his last encounter with Ezra, all apparently as a means of making up for past failures. Sabine later questions Ezra whether he believes his parents are alive, and tries to persuade him to speak to Tseebo about them. Ezra refuses, and Sabine is obviously distressed both by this and his reasoning that he doesn’t want to jeopardize his ability to survive by letting himself hope.
While Ezra is away on a mission, Sabine turns her attention to the disk, which she apparently took from the workshop. She subsequently returns the repaired disk to Ezra, and it proves to contain an image of him with his parents. Sabine, leaving him to enjoy the sight, says goodbye with a “Happy Birthday, Ezra Bridger.” In “Vision of Hope”, Sabine takes part in Ezra’s latest training session, and is on hand when he tells them about a vision he’s had. Like Zeb, she proves skeptical, and gives Ezra a teasing punch on the shoulder.
Sabine later explains the workshop to Hera and the others, but cuts off Hera as she’s talking about the Bridgers after seeing that Ezra has arrived. She then tries to distract Ezra by questioning him about his recon mission. Later, when Ezra says he has a way into the building they’re looking to enter undetected, Sabine is skeptical but Ezra confidently reminds the whole crew of his solo survival time. He leads them to an old sewer, which Sabine notes does smell like Ezra, alerting him to the fact that Sabine “know[s] what [he] smell[s] like”. Afterwards, when the crew is forced to separate and Ezra worries over their ability to find each other, Sabine quips “I can smell you, remember?” Ezra opens his mouth to make a clever comeback, but Hera prevents him from doing so based on the urgency of their escape.

Imperial Supercommandos
- Ezra becomes flustered when Sabine grabs him to take off in her jetpack. This suggests that prior to this, Sabine has never grabbed Ezra in such a close embrace before.
Legacy of Mandalore
- Ezra is flustered when talking to Sabine's mother Ursa and her brother Tristan. He starts rambling that he didn't know Sabine had a brother and Kanan had to tell him to chill out.
Heroes of Mandalore
- When meeting Sabine's father Alrich, Ezra gets flustered after telling him that he is with Sabine but not "with Sabine" in a romantic sense. This parallels how Kanan was flustered meeting Hera's father Cham Syndulla.
Family Reunion - and Farewell
- When Ezra has to sacrifice himself to send him and Thrawn to another galaxy, he and Sabine share a silent moment where she knows what he has to do. She then goes to distract the team as Ezra leaves. This serves to show how much they trust they have for each other and how in sync they are that they can have a silent conversation.

- Sabine re-listens to an a old hologram message sent by Ezra, in which Ezra says she's become a sister to him over the years they've got to know each other.
- When Sabine was sleeping in Ezra's old tower, she had a dream hearing his voice, then waking up saying his name in concern.
Toil And Trouble
- When talking to Huyang in the infirmary and recovering from her wounds after getting stabbed by Shin Hati, he reminded Sabine that Ezra gifted his lightsaber to her and that now it belongs to her, later giving back to her and convincing her to resume her training.
Time To Fly
- When encountering a group Purrgil, Sabine later recalled the last she saw them was durring the Battle of Lothal when Ezra disappeared with Thrawn along with his fleet into Deep Space.
Fallen Jedi
- When Ahsoka pondered if they should proceed to finding Ezra if it risks brining Thrawn back and later considered destroying the map to prevent another Galactic War, Sabine later expressed concern Ezra might lost forever if they go through it.
- When Sabine was putting on her armor and loading her weapons, Ahsoka mentioned that she knows how Ezra means to her, later stating that it's important to do what's right regardlsss of how one feels, leading to Sabine to question if she really believes that, leading Ahsoka to remind that when the stakes are high that they would need such a sacrifise.
- When confronted by Baylon Skoll after he seemingly killed Ahsoka, Sabine threatened to destroy the map, yet Baylon turned off his lightsaber, telling Sabine that she feels Ezra is the only family she has left, while also mentioning how Clan Wren died on Mandalore durring the Night of a Thousand Tears. Conflicted by her descsion, Baylon then offers Sabine a chance to join him, promising no harm would come to her and that she will be reunited with Ezra. As a result, Sabine relucantly and regretfully hands Baylon the Map in hopes of finding Ezra, even if she knew it might also risk brining Thrawn back and starting another war.
Far Far Away
- When Sabine is brought before Grand Admiral Thrawn, who expresses her gradiute in her relucant choice to help him escape from exile. Sabine then asks where Ezra is, with Thrawn later clarifying her motives, yet states the possibility he might be dead. Sabine refused to believe that, considering Thrawn is alive and hopes Ezra might be too. Soon, Thrawn later questions why she would go to such desperate lenghths to find him based on that hope, with Sabine stating he wouldn't understand, with Thrawn responding that he dosen't.
- When Sabine finally reunited with Ezra, the two shared an embrace with the Noti watching. Ezra then asks how Sabine found him, when he noticed the Howler asking she was able to tame, with Sabine just asking Ezra to enjoy this reunion, trying to hide her guilt from him.
Dreams And Madness
- When traveling with the Noti, Sabine and Ezra try to catch up on current events mentioning how the Empire was defeated, Palpatine's death and the forming of the New Republic, while Sabine tries to deflect Ezra's question of how she found him, only for him to back down on that statement. Sabine later Ezra that Ahsoka took her on her as appertice, much to his surpise. Ezra then asks what happened to her, to which Sabine stayed silent, beleving Ahsoka to be dead, while Ezra remains confused.
Jedi The Witch And The Warlord
- When Ezra was building a new lightsaber that resembled his old Master Kanan Jarrus while talking to Huyang regarding how to construct a lightsaber, Sabine then comes in and confirms the name of Ezra's old mentor.
- When trying to escape Peridea with Ahsoka, Ezra and Sabine ride on the same Howler as they try to stop Thrawn.
- When Ezra being handled by a Night Tropper. Sabine saves him by killing the trooper with her lightsaber. After Sabine, Ezra and Ahsoka destroy the control consoles, sealing the Nigthtroopers in from both doors, Ezra later asks Sabine got so good with his old lightsaber with Ahsoka replying she's been training. Sabine later asks Ezra "what's you're excuse", to which Ezra replied " I missed you".
- When Sabine finally tapped into the force, she helped Ezra reach the Chirmera while using the force to assist jumping on the ship similar to the move he and Kanan preformed when trying to reach points beyond reach.
Fanon
Sabezra is one of the main ships of the Star Wars Rebels series. Ezra is shown to initially have a crush on Sabine, although eventually in the Ahsoka series it is revealed that he ended up seeing her as a sister. This interpretation is supported by a large part of the fandom, since the two are considered as the "kids" of the Ghost Crew, while Kanan and Hera serve as the parents.
However, others believe that it is implied that Ezra might have been nervous to tell Sabine his true feelings, as Sabine gave an unconvinced look. After he vanished, she took up training to be a Jedi like him despite being Mandalorian, and when that fell through her life spiraled. She lives in his tower loft on Lothal, dressing like him and seemingly nearly friendless despite the rest of the team still being alive and well. Although he says she's "like a sister" in his private holomessage that he left just for her (in addition to the general one he left for the entire team), she smirks with a clear "yeah, sure, we both know that's bull" look at the line. It's clear she's watched the message dozens or maybe hundreds of times in the past decade. When she cuts her hair, it's notably shorter than it had been before she grew it out, more like Ezra's hairstyle the last time she saw him. She's so desperate to get to him that she's willing to give the villains the map to where he is as long as they agree to allow her to search for him when they get there, even though this means that Thrawn will have a way back to their galaxy as well and she has no guarantee that he's even still alive at this point.
Despite Ezra calling her "sister" in the first episode of Ahsoka, the ship continues to enjoy some popularity in certain sectors of the fandom, with many feeling the show was building up the relationship to become a reality in a future story.
Despite having initially lost much of its popularity in the beginning of Ahsoka due to the arrival of WolfWren, Sabezra later had a massive resurgence, drawing in many new fans (many of whom didn't initially ship them in Rebels).

- When Dave Filoni got questioned as to why Sabine and Ezra didn't end up together, he revealed he wanted Ezra and Sabine to show that two people of the opposite gender can have a bond without having a romantic relationship. [1]
