Not to be confused with Divine Vessel.

Vessels (器, Utsuwa^?) are a concept referring to the maximum amount of Power of Existence an existence can possess.

Background

A Flame Haze's Vessel is created when they lose their Vessel Known as Destiny as part of their contract with a Crimson Lord, and refers to a vacuum opened in this world's space-time, as well as the Flame Haze's body.

A human's Vessel is simply their Vessel Known as Destiny.

Vessels in the anime

In the light novels, Vessels were only expressed in terms of Flame Haze and humans, the two existences from this world.

In the anime, Vessels, or Vessels of Existence (存在の器, Sonzai no Utsuwa^?) were also used to refer to a Crimson Denizen's Power of Existence capacity. Hecate's Vessel of Existence was close to limitless.^[1][2]
