
Sega Fes was a series of two day events hosted by Sega. It featured interviews, gameplay demos of upcoming games, cosplayers, unique merchandise, mascot meet and greets, and tournaments for fans to engage in. It was also where Sega announced their upcoming titles during the three years the Fes was held.
Sega Fes 2016
- Toshihiro Nagoshi performed a guest talk "Sega Nama ~Sega Game Creator Toshihiro Nagoshi's Live Cheers~" where he started with a tea toast and was joined by Hiroyuki Sakamoto, director of the upcoming Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.
- A 64-man Puyo Puyo tournament was held, with the four best players winning a framed 25th anniversary art piece containing every Puyo Puyo character to that date. Arle's voice actress, Mie Sonozaki, cheered them on in the semi finals and praised them calling them Puyo Puyo masters.
- Hatsune Miku performing a live concert to wrap the event up.
A poll was also held by Sega that asked Japanese fans to vote on Sega's most Memorable Creation, Most Memorable Character and Most Wished-For Revival.

Sega Fes 2018
- Shenmue 1 & 2 HD was announced for Steam, Xbox and PlayStation 4. Features included an updated UI, and the option to choose between both modern and classic controls and the original Japanese or English voices.
- The Mega Drive Mini was officially unveiled. At the time no titles contained within it were revealed.
- Sega Ages was announced for the Nintendo Switch, with some of the first titles revealed being Sonic the Hedgehog, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Gain Ground, Phantasy Star and Thunder Force IV.
Sega Fes 2019
This was the final Sega Fes.
- Several Olympic games were announced for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games: Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Sonic at the Olympic Games (2020) and Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game. These would be the last entries in the Olympic and Mario & Sonic series.
- Sega Ages had several more Nintendo Switch reveals with Puzzle & Action: Ichidant-R, Shinobi, G-Loc Air Battle, Fantasy Zone, Herzog Zwei and Wonder Boy in Monster Land. This was a first for G-Loc Air Battle. Herzog Zwei was the only one announced that used the Mega Drive version instead of the arcade version. These would be the last games in the Sega Ages lineup.
- Yakuza Kiwami 2 was announced for PC.
- Mega Drive Mini recieves a trailer showcasing some of the games included.
- Sakura Wars 2019 is announced and revealed with it's first trailer. It's also announced to be getting a worldwide release. This is only the second game in the franchise to ever release in English speaking territories, after Sakura Wars: So Long My Love. The game was said to have been created as a direct result of the Sega Fes 2016 poll results.
- First glimpses of Like a Dragon are teased, showcasing Ichiban Kasuga in the protagonist role.
