Josh Stolberg (born March 7, 1971) is an American film director and screenwriter best known for his work on Piranha 3D, Piranha 3DD, Sorority Row, and the Saw franchise.
He was one of the screenwriters of Jigsaw, Spiral, and Saw X.
Personal Life
Josh Stolberg was born in Columbia, South Carolina. He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television in 1996. Since September 15, 2001, he has been married to Leila Charles Leigh and has two children, Asher Ronin Stolberg and Xander Brighton Stolberg.
Career
The first film directed by Stolberg was the comedy Kids in America in 2005, in which he made a cameo appearance as a security guard. Later that year, he helmed a comedy titled The Life Coach, winning the Seashore Award and Queen Spirit Award. In 2006, he wrote the script of Good Luck Chuck, starring Dane Cook, Jessica Alba, and Dan Fogler. He also co-wrote the screenplays for Man-Witch, the remakes of Piranha 3D, House on Sorority Row, and the book adaptions of The Spellman Files and The Candy Shop Wars.

Trivia
- Josh Stolberg and his wife, Leila Charles Leigh, both make cameo appearances as police officers in Spiral. However, Stolberg's scene was removed from the film's final version.
