This large machine is part of an automated system, found and possessed by the Bydo for use as transport containers. The Bydo also uses them to patrol tight corridors and pulverize anything in their way.

R-Type
Unmanned, highly armored transport container. The pink core is its Achilles Heel.
Trying to attack this unit is difficult, as only the glowing red parts are vulnerable. Pilots in the first Bydo mission will encounter lots of these in the Transport System. This was mislabeled as Baldo in the Game Boy release.
R-Type Delta
Dop's entire structure is vulnerable here, not just the red parts. It's found in Evil.
R-Type Command
Description
Though this large unit doesn't technically possess any attacks, it will obliterate whatever gets in it's way. Fleet commanders will have to keep careful tabs on this machine to avoid having their squads falling prey to it.
B-Dp Dopp -Autonomous Guard-
A out-of-control facility sentinel, it will now destroy anything in its path. Its rear core is vulnerable.
Requirements:
This unit cannot be created or captured by the player.
