Cactus

Cactus is a male non-playable character (NPC) who appears in the Lobby. He was also present in Anonymous Mode up until his removal on July 19th, 2022. He could be played when selecting Male or Random.

Appearance

Cactus is depicted as wearing a light green t-shirt with a print of a potted, spiky, cactus cat with the text "CATus!" below it. He also wears cuffed, high-waisted denim jeans, and black shoes with white soles. He has a messy, blonde undercut with its windswept bangs off to the left side. He has a warm ivory complexion and the "Winky" face.

Trivia

• Cactus was added to the game on June 27th, 2020, but was removed on July 19th, 2022 as a result.
  • Because a child was associated with a murder game, it caused some players discomfort, leading to his removal along with Cash and Nave.^[1] Evan and Lucas were removed for this same reason on March 14th, 2023.^[2]
  • Cactus was in the game for 752 days (2 years and 22 days).
• The name Cactus (/ˈkæktəs/; /ˈkæktʊs/) comes from the spiky plant with the same name, etymologized by the Latin word "cactus" and the Greek word "κάκτος".
• It is confirmed that Cactus is based on croire's cousin. He shares the same trait with Lucas.^[3]
  • He is, however, confirmed to be cousins with Jo, Evan, and Nave.
• Cactus is one of the seven male characters that was added on June 27th, 2020 that aren't in the LGBTQ+ category. The others are Adam, Cash, Nave, Thiago, Dashawn, and Dvir
• Cactus has been confirmed to be buddies with Cash.
• Cactus can be seen on the 2x Clown Chance Gamepass as the Clown.
• It is also revealed that Cactus is ten years old, which makes him the second youngest character in game. In first, Nave is nine years old, and in third, Aeren, is eleven years old.
• Cactus is one of the multitude of characters who appear in the lobby. He can be seen watching TV with Nave in an apartment while Jo and Jordan are conversating and eating pizza in the lobby.
