On the Marketplace, Free is a price setting for items that can be obtained without having to pay with Robux. Items can be filtered by setting the Max price filter to zero, or setting the sorting options to lowest to highest price and looking at the first available products.
On the Creator Marketplace, users can set any of their items they have created in the Models, Audio, Images, Plugins or Meshes category to be taken by others for free. However, in the Plugins category, ID/phone-verified users can monetize any of their plugins for Robux.[1]
