Hebe Jeebies

Hebe Jeebies is an arcade in Time Square operated by Hebe, the goddess of youth.

The Senior Year Adventures

The Chalice of the Gods

After accepting Ganymede's request to find his stolen chalice, Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood go to the arcade to find Hebe to ask her about the chalice, located in a storefront at Times Square.

Percy describes Hebe Jeebies as a "low-rent" version of the Lotus Hotel and Casino, and felt suspicious about the place. Grover points out that, unlike the casino, the arcade doesn't trap people in time (as there's no one dressed in different time periods) and they leave the building no problem. The arcade is actually a "nostalgia trap", as it offers its customers their own childhood and make them feel younger.

Trivia

  • The arcade has various arcade games, a climbing wall with a pool, animatronics, and a chicken coop.
  • The arcade turns people younger. It's unknown if its temporary or not, or if the mortals can tell.
  • Hebe prohibits children under the age of eight in her arcade as their presence will cause her to de-age, and often hangs out in the karaoke bar to remain a teenager.
