Elisson is the god of the River Elisson.
History
Having spent many years overseeing the River Elisson, a river that could clean anything. Monsters even use his river to clean themselves, yet he became annoyed at the messes left behind. So he moved to the Saw Mill River in Yonkers, New York where he often holds secret yoga classes for water spirits.
The Senior Year Adventures
The Chalice of the Gods
After Percy Jackson lands in his sacred pool, to clean Iris's staff, Elisson arrives and tosses Percy out of the water. The god berates Percy for breaking the rules and Percy apologizes and introduces himself as Poseidon’s son. Ellison sarcastically berates him until the Son of Poseidon agrees to do anything, in which Elisson wants to see if he could drown the demigod or not.
As Elisson is roughing up Percy in the water, coating his face in sludge and suffocating him, the Son of Poseidon snaps and takes control of the water. Elisson is then comforted by Annabeth Chase after the god becomes traumatized by Percy's sheer power over water. Annabeth gives Elisson tea as the god agrees to let demigods wash sacred objects every other Saturday and leaves after Percy apologizes.
Appearance
Elisson resembles a man with blue skin, dark eyes, and long dark hair pulled up in a man bun and a beard.
Personality
Elisson takes his duty very seriously and hates anyone and anything who soils it, often being extremely sarcastic and arrogant in his abilities. However, he dearly underestimated just how powerful demigod Percy Jackson is when the latter (in a fit of rage) caused an explosion in his river that left Elisson in a state of shock and developed a fear of Percy's raw power.
Abilities
- Hydrokinesis: As a river deity, Elisson has control over water. However, to his utter shock, he learns the hard way that his abilities are much less than that of Percy Jackson's, who's proven himself a powerful demigod.
