Tier 5 - Veteran is the fifth tier of Quake 3 Arena. Some of the most hardened and skillful combatants inhabit this place, testing the player's determination harder than ever. The maps' style is strongly Hellish and rich in gruesome decorations and boiling hot lava. The final encounter in this tier is an eerie fog-shrouded duel against the horrifying but beastly Uriel. Besting this being in battle will elevate the player to the coveted status of Master.
