Slime (Q3)

Slime is an environmental hazard found on Arena Eternal. It slowly drains the player's health, while eating through armor at moderate speed on collision. Appearing generally ankle-height pools that is not too wide or placed depths of a pit, you'll get out if you keep moving. A trick like rocket jump would be a risky attempt if you were to get whizzed by slime, as a safe spot will be a few jumps away from you and it won't hurt as bad as lava.

However Battle Suit and Invulnerability Shield are the only power-ups that will protect the player from slime, only battle suit will give you mobility around such areas. Remember slime is also fairly deadly to all gladiators, yet it's way easy for a careless fellow to dip their toes and burn slightly while running backwards than them dying in a blink. It only punishes gladiator for being careless as to keep a foe pinned into the slime pool you'd need to keep suppression fire while focusing on evading their shots more than anything.
