Jeon Soyeon (전소연) is currently an idol under Cube Entertainment. She was a contestant on Produce 101. She ranked #20 on the finale and was unable to make it into I.O.I.
Career & History
Soyeon was the 3rd runner-up on Mnet's Unpretty Rapstar 3.
She made her solo debut in 2017 with the single "Jelly".
In 2018, Soyeon made her group debut as the leader of the six-member girl group (G)I-DLE. They realeased their first EP, I Am May 2, 2018.
On August 6, 2024 Cube Entertainment revealed that Soyeon's (and the other (G)I-DLE members contracts were due to expire in November and they were in discussion to renew the contracts. At the Melon Music Awards, during their acceptance speech for Record of the Year, Soyeon announced that all the members had decided to renew their contracts with CUBE.
