PRIMROSE (프림로즈) is a four-member girl group under A.O Entertainment. Originally as a duo, they made their debut on January 13, 2023 with the mini album Red Moon as a duo, The four-member debut was Laffy Taffy on August 18, 2023.
History
Pre-debut
On November 8, 2022, A.O Entertainment revealed their new female duo name, PRIMROSE, opening up SNS accounts.[1]
2023: Debut with Red Moon, Yeum's departure, Nahyun, Rainie and Hayun's addition, Laffy Taffy
On January 3, it was announced that they would make their debut on January 13 with the mini album Red Moon.[2]
On March 23, A.O Entertainment announced that Yeum had left the duo due to personal circumstances and health problems. PRIMROSE would continue as an one-member solo act until a new member joins the duo.[3]
On May 3, A.O Entertainment announced that former HOT ISSUE member Nahyun had joined PRIMROSE following Yeum's departure.[4]
On May 16, A.O Entertainment announced that former BugAboo member Rainie had joined PRIMROSE.[5] The agency also hinted that the group would recruit additional members.
On June 22, A.O Entertainment announced that PRIMROSE had completed its lineup reorganization with the addition of their final new member Hayun, and that the group had been preparing for a comeback.[6]
On July 26, A.O Entertainment announced that PRIMROSE will be releasing their second mini album Laffy Taffy on August 18.[7]
2024: "Revival"
On May 17, the group released a promotional calendar for their first single album "Revival", set for release on June 17.[8]
