Yeum (예음), also known by her birth name Myongwoo (명우), is a South Korean-Taiwanese singer-songwriter. She is a former member of the girl groups PRIMROSE and Azer Blossom.
As a lyricist, she goes by the pseudonym Thing.
Career
2021: Azer Blossom
In 2021, using her birth name Jeong Myeongwoo, Yeum debuted as a member of the girl group Azer Blossom with the digital single "Focus On Me". The group presumably disbanded sometime in 2022.
2022–2023: PRIMROSE
On November 11, 2022, Yeum was revealed as the second member of the duo PRIMROSE.[1] They made their debut on January 13, 2023 with the mini album Red Moon.
On March 23, 2023, A.O Entertainment announced that Yeum had left the duo due to personal circumstances and health problems.[2]
2024: Thing
On December 19, 2024, it was revealed that Yeum, who was credited as Thing, wrote the entire lyrics for URE's "불꽃남자".[3]

Education
Yeum is a student under the K-pop Department at Howon University, which also formed her former group Azer Blossom. She also attended Fuze Practical Music Academy Daehangno Branch.
