Elizabeth is a young Wraith girl and the daughter of Count Raum and Countess Empusa in the realm of Aetha. She is always seen carrying a deceased pet rat named Claude.
History
Elizabeth is mentioned in conversation between Raum and Empusa in the Helot village, where they plan to take back a sacrifice and drink his blood. However, the Countess is displeased with the peasant on offer and her husband offers to pluck out an eyeball as a toy for their daughter.
Elizabeth is actually seen for the first time in the ballroom of the Château. Scree, who entered and began exploring in order to rescue the captured Jen, observes the young girl dancing alone, but she is interrupted by an angry Empusa, who insults her daughter's looks and dancing. Elizabeth begs to be allowed to the ball that will take place, but is refused and runs away, crying.
During the ball, she huddles behind a pillar and watches Jen (disguised as Duchess Natalia) dancing with Raum. Elizabeth apparently steals Scree's "hiding spot", forcing the latter to quickly move.
When Scree and Jen locate the gate that leads to the dark maze, blocking the entrance to the dungeons and Blood Machine, they learn from a "talking head" that Elizabeth has the key, as she enjoys playing there to keep away from her parents. The pair heads to her room and they see her sat on the bed. She reveals that she saw Jen dancing with her father, so wasn't fooled by the disguise.
Scree insists, even with Elizabeth's denial, that she is a wonderful dancer and loves it. She then abruptly asks if they plan to kill her father and dares them to do so; Jen gently responds that she "may be having a fight with him", seemingly not wanting to upset the girl. Asking for the dark maze's key, she claims it is boring and demands that they may only have it if she gets to dance with Scree - mistakenly calling him "Scream". He obliges and obtains the key, but Elizabeth requests to keep him as a pet once Raum and Empusa are killed, but Jen explains that he is needed for her journey to stablise the demon realms and apologises for the "inconvenience". Elizabeth throws a tantrum until Scree insists upon another dance from her later.
Elizabeth is last seen witnessing the death of her mother and father in the ballroom at the hands of Jen. Scree realises the Wraith girl is on the balcony above and calls out to her, but she turns around and leaves without a word. It is unknown what happened to Aetha's leadership and its inhabitants afterwards.
