Arturo is an Undine sub-station engineer working in Aquis. He becomes a lone survivor and trapped within the station after a brutal attack from Belahzur.
History
Before the events of Primal, Arturo was an engineer working at an unnamed sub-station in Aquis. As the demon realms began to be corrupted by the forces of Chaos and the purification machines were deactivated, the waters became tainted and many Undine went insane; survivors fled to secret waters, fraught with different perils.
Arturo remained behind and, after a "terrible demon" arrived and began killing everyone in sight, the equipment was disabled. Arturo escaped with his life and took refuge in the Tunnels, within the Skeleton sub-station. Unfortunately, it meant he was trapped and resigned himself to the same fate as his brothers.
Preparing to restart said sub-station, Jen and Scree encounter him, learning of his tale and some of what occurred within the realm. Arturo accepts death in order to restart the machines - his life for the people's - and Scree sees the sense in sacrificing one life for the sake of many. Jen, however, disagrees and refuses to do so, leading to an argument with Scree. Without budging, the pair looks for a way to free Arturo and restart the sub-station.
Managing to do so, the engineer is freed. He thanks Jen and Scree for their help and swims away.
